CURRENT EVENTS:

- UB Campus Star 2010

Audience - Over 200 students
occupied more than 50% of the hall
despite massive investments in
publicity and logistics .
This was attributed to the fact that the
popular association ASJUBS ran their
show on friday, barely the day before
the UB Campus Star event and also
the fact that many departments were
preparing for a series of C.As,
(continuous assessment).

Edutainment - Outreach was
massive, through sharing of Condoms
and brochures from PTG, sales of
ACMS 100% Jeune magazines, an
edutainment talk by mey-low-d UB, a
special guest star edutainment
presentation of "Make u no cry" by
Afrigirl alongside counselling services
that took place at the entrance of the
hall during which 7 students were
referred to HIV centers for VCT.
Also, with the inclusion of the best
"Thinker Award", a lot of outreach was
done through the presentations of
presidents who were automatically
considered as contestants in order to
merge the thinker Award with the
Mabu Nfinyo Leadership Award for
logistic reasons.

Talent Development
The stage presentations in all
categories was about the best that
mey-low-d foundation has ever
witnessed. All presentations were
documented. Addresses of 10
wonderful participants were collected
as a base for organising future
events, joining mey-low-d foundation
and human investment in upcoming
projects. This was with the support of
Z-LINE ENTERTAINMENT who as
partners have offered to do a free
audio recording on 1 whole music
album entitled UB-Campus star in
partnership with mey-low-d. They also
will support us with audio recordings
and guest artists for Campus
Celebrity in Buea come September.

Marketing and Public Relations
Due to the massive publicity, mey-low-
d foundation is now well known in
Buea despite the remarkable failure
to fill the hall as wondond also well
known by partners both in UB and the
Whole of Bues, such as presidents of
associations, the student department,
at least 7 NGOs, the governors office,
PTG and and 3 regional delegations
that shall serve as windows of
opportunity in the near future.
