WHAT IS CAMPUS CELEBRITY ?


It's all about the youth; a project for young people by young people
celebrating talent. Campus Celebrity seeks to
enable young, talented Cameroonian students to excel and express
themselves through art  - music, dance and fashion
(modelling). It involves many activities like live concerts
in schools, media coverage, commercials and radio/TV programmes.
Ten schools in and around Bamenda are participants in this great
endeavor.

Campus Celebrity is a forum to develop talent in young people while
educating them and getting their views in relation to crucial issues in
their society like HIV/AIDS and corruption.
It involves a selection of the very best in each school -
where live concerts are organised and candidates are auditioned and
short listed for the final event. Also, a coverage is done for each
school and broadcast over TV, radio and of course one of our partners
- 100% Jeune Magazine. To crown it all, the finals which constitute
inter school competitions in the domains cited above and prizes for the
most talented students will be given at the prize award grand gala.

Campus Celebrity means reaching out to the youth, giving them
hope, opening opportunities for them, and empowering them by helping
them to understand that they too have something to offer to our
society. It is a vision of change, excellence and a better future for
the Cameroonian youth.
